Artist Bio: 

This week features Eyegum Music Collective! While they are known by students for their Free Wednesday gigs at San Fran, Eyegum Music Collective formed in 2013 to throw house gigs during a music venue drought. Their residency at San Fran showcases the best up and coming acts in Aotearoa and is not to miss. 

On 4 September 2026, Eyegum Music Collective took over Newtown to host a multi-venue festival, “The Night Before,” the next day taking over Te Aro for “Great Sounds Great” festival. Our resident photographer captured her highlights from both nights in case you missed it, or in case you want to reminisce.
