nobody knows me like i do 

in my head plays 

a shaky digi-cam video of the full moon from afar 

and in the background 

my frustrated mouth-breathing 

the futile tick of the zoom wheel 

scratched on the wall is a treatise on my morbid fascination with kissing in elevators my personal odyssey is the summer just gone the summer i fixed myself 

played cyberpunk 

and learned how not to have phone sex it’s odd 

knowing a part of you dies every time you blink
