Political Junkie?

The New Zealand Centre of Public Law is holding a symposium entitled: MMP and the Constitution: 15 years past; 15 years forward. Is going to be held Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. It is an awesome deal for students to go along to this: only $25 if you register now whereas normal Joe Public would cost $250!

The Symposium is held going to be video conferenced to London (which is why it is spread over two days) and is at the Old Government Buildings at 6:30pm-10:00pm, Tuesday 26 August and the second session is at 7:00am-10:30am on Wednesday.

There will be many awesome speakers and it should be a good occasion to hob knob and learn from some of the brightest minds in NZ.

The link I registered on this morning doesn’t seem to be working any more but you can download the PDF about the event here.

Sorry about the late notice!

For those who miss it I’ll do a post about it :D

Bugger, missed it. This is what I get for not spending more of my working day on the Salient site. Look forward to your review!

Jackson Wood

Jackson is a destroyer of souls, devourer of delight and all round nice guy. Currently the Political Editor of Salient he has aspirations of one day becoming a Ninja, or perhaps a Man of Letters. Jackson has been described as pompous, arrogant, and most people should be warned not to enter into a binding contract with this man because he uses magic ink. Say what you like about him, Jackson doesn't really care. To him it is like whisky off an alcoholics liver.
