It’s unusual to feature a writer who is yet to finish his book as one of our favourites, but Samuel Tidey is an exciting exception. Having circulated the first chapter of his novel, A Countryside Rendezvous, throughout the writing community, Tidey has readers champing at the bit for more. His talent for creating erotic, yet tasteful, metaphors, imaginative plot twists and exotic characters is impressive, and will undoubtedly earn him a place on the bookshelves of all readers who appreciate quality romantic fiction. In a brief and exclusive interview, I asked Tidey where his inspiration came from. ‘Well, Amy,’ he said, ‘I found How to Write Erotic Fiction for Ladies an invaluable resource while getting started, but of course, long hours of intensive research in and out of my subject material is essential.
